Troop 910 - there when you need 'em!

When Miss Diane got a frantic call from one of her friends in the Bradshaw Farms Women's Club on Monday morning asking if our boy scout troop could fill in at the last minute for a Cherokee County boy scout troop that volunteered to pack 400 lunches for MUST ministries and then cancelled at the last minute, she knew just what to do. Mr. Willis was quick to rearrange the troop's regular meeting for such a good cause. Michael, Miko, Chris and Augie along with Becca Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Dusse, Miss Susan and Miss Diane helped Richard Bennett make sandwiches and stuff hundreds of paper lunch bags with fruit snacks, salty snacks, drinks and desserts.

Everyone had a good time and Mr. Bennett was especially thankful that he didn't have to do everything by himself. His wife was sick and it was her turn to host the event.

Mr. Bennett said the ladies' club will be sending an official letter thanking the troop for their two hours of service.
