Your goal until the December campout is to master some basic meals in 30 minutes. This isn't difficult. It just takes practice, teamwork and planning.

You will repeat one meal each week until you can complete it in 30 minutes, then you will move on to the next meal:

You have successfully mastered pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon; spaghetti and garlic bread.

Are you up for TACOS???

Leadership Training - What we learned

When you don't plan, it causes stress, confusion, unhappiness and hunger.

Even though we know how to light a wood fire when the wood is dry, we would like to get better at knowing what kind of fire to cook on.

We need to learn how to start a charcoal fire.

We would like to learn more about Dutch oven cooking.

We don't want to repeat our mistakes, so we would like to set aside some time at each Monday night meeting to plan the next campout in detail.

We want to be sure each troop member understands it so there will be no confusion and stress.

We want to use the best skills of each boy and give him a duty where he can use them, for example, a light sleeper who likes to get up early should be the one the call Revelie.

We want to make a cell phone rule. You can bring your cell phone on campouts, but if you get out of hand with it and become annoying, the quartermaster will keep your phone for the rest of the campout.
